Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which stores your credentials for us. We never see or store your password.

Profile and submission information. To submit you to directories we collect what those directories ask for: your business name, website URL, contact email, and any description or category you provide.

Submission records. We keep a record of each directory we submitted you to, when, and the outcome, so you can track results and so we do not submit you twice.

Technical information. Standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type, and pages requested.

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. That is all we request and all we receive. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or sell it to anyone. You can disconnect Automated Link Building at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

To operate the service: create and secure your account, submit your business to the directories you select, report back on those submissions, and send you transactional email such as sign-in links and submission results. We also use it to provide support and to fix problems with the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.

Directories you select. This is the core of the service. The business name, website, email, and description you give us are transmitted to the third-party directories you choose. Once submitted, that information is governed by each directory’s own privacy policy, not ours.

Service providers. We use Clerk for authentication, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting, and a managed PostgreSQL database for storage. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, principally the session cookie set by Clerk that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your account and submission records for as long as your account is active, and delete them within 30 days of a deletion request. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on infrastructure operated by the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Note that deleting your data from our systems does not remove listings that directories have already published. Those must be requested from each directory directly.

You can access and update your profile from the dashboard at any time. To request a copy of your data or have your account and data deleted, email hello@automatedlinkbuilding.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. We honor those requests regardless of where you live.

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
